I had a feeling that I used the title "Tea with the queen" before. And I had. This time I chose the Prince because Will, Kate, and Harry are all supposed to live there. Soonish. Or maybe they already do. I don't know these things. Unfortunately I don't care too much either. Finals are coming.
Because of extra program funds, we were told that we could either choose to go to Kensington Palace and then to High Tea at the Orangery there or we could go to a football match (soccer). Being the sort of person that I am, I obviously chose the first option. The palace was kind of cool but it was really hard to get around and to know what I was looking at. They had writing on the wall but I couldn't read most of it. I'm not really sure what the point of a lot of stuff in there was. We went through pretty fast and so I had an hour to read stuff for history class. Even though it was sprinkling a bit I laid down on the couch and just relaxed. Or, y'know, relaxed as much as possible while still doing homework.
Palace? What palace? Who cares about that when you've got flowers, right?
Okay, fine. I took a picture of that too.
And now back to plants.
The high tea was pretty fun. All the students crammed into one table except for me so I got to hang out with the Masons again. The best part was probably the look of total shock when we informed them that none of us drink tea. Unfortunately I wasn't feeling well so I didn't enjoy it as much as I might have otherwise. I did manage to eat my scone with clotted cream and jam and my little sandwiches but I couldn't handle the desserts.
I went back home to study for finals (EEK!) and then went to a play for class called the Pitman Painters. I quite enjoyed it. But that reminds me that I was supposed to send in a review of it before class so I've got to go do that. Cheers.
